Quoted in the Grove:
There’s only one thing I never did and wish I had done: climbed over a fence.
~Queen Mary
The past cannot be cured.
~Elizabeth I
Nothing can cure the soul but the senses, just as nothing can cure the senses but the soul.

The land of my brain has a waterway upon which all my thoughts travel. My disease of addiction is a murderous bomb that is triggered by air, and sits on the waterway’s floor waiting for the waters of my recovery to recede so it can go off and kill me. That fucking bomb is a major cunt.

Impromptu: vexed, primitive
A primitive .gif file featuring the arcane art of typesetting.
Austere, haunting depiction of a vexingly detailed labor of love.

~MissMerry: MM Impromtu
Vexed, as the body fails
dreams still pulse with life
primitive and wild
filled with heat and lust
the mind doesn’t age
as flesh desolves to dust
~
~Greenie: Vexed!
I sit and comtemplate
vexed
by the primitive state
irked
by having to wait
jerked
by not getting to sate
soothed
by false hope’s bait
paused
by every shut gate
blocked
by monstrous weight
barbed
by mischievous fate
Good thing I have
an optimist’s pate!

~Odin: Vexed/Primitive 24/03/16
Eric X was a wise, and courageous man at heart
who practiced well (and in secret) the old ways, and would not from him let them depart.
From him came an eloquent request one day
for help to send Sverker II packing (as X did pray).
So moved by his words, and vexed by enemy false claim,
my intent was focused to greatly harm, and to maim.
The day came as the days always do,
and I arrived there -almost- late having horse lost a shoe.
The battle about to begin as I entered the fray,
the primitive friendlies rallying around proper battle words to say.
A new dawn.
